I’ve graduated from university for about a year and a bit now, and naturally my next step is to build a career which would enable me to support myself financially and not rely on my parents. However, looking for a job in my related field has been quite tough over the last year.
I have never felt like my passion lay within a regular job where things could become quite repetitive. I like to be creative and to express my thoughts in ways that other people may find interesting. There have been periods of time where my mind would be torn between so many different ideas and aspirations that I would be afraid to commit to any, which left me going nowhere.
In June 2015, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend and see the Oracle taking trance at Kechara Forest Retreat. It was an opportunity that I will never take for granted. Listening to the teachings really brought me back to my spirituality which I find myself so easily distracted from due to my needless daily routine. Reciting Dorje Shugden’s mantra allows me to calm my mind and to contemplate on my actions and thoughts.
I have seen more opportunities arise in recent months and I even got to help out with the filming of the Aviary at Kechara Forest Retreat which was a unique experience. I hope that more of these opportunities will continue to arise and I truly believe they will!
