22 May 2016 marked the 90th birthday celebrations of the 101st Gaden Tripa, His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Lungrik Namgyal. This event was organised by the people of Dhapa, Nepal and the members of Thar Deu Ling Buddhist Centre, Paris.
Many notable guests flew in from all corners of the world to attend this special event, including great masters like Abbot Emeritus of Shar Gaden Monastery, H.E. Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Phende, H.E. Gonsar Tulku Rinpoche, H.E. Rabten Rinpoche, Ven. Drubchen Rinpoche, Ven. Geshe Tsultrim Tenzin, Ven. Geshe Tenzin Palchok, representatives from Rabten Choeling, Tashi Rabten as well as Sweden, India, Nepal, Tibet and many other countries.
The guests engaged in a grand long life offering ceremony (tenshug), primarily sponsored by the people of Dhapa, followed by Tibetan dances and other traditional celebrations.
The Gaden Tripa is the Holder of the Gaden Throne, considered to be the representative of Lama Tsongkhapa on Earth. This title is given to the spiritual leader of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, who is traditionally appointed in a hierarchical progression that is based on the merit of a monk’s learning, practice and adherence to the monastic vows and commitments. Therefore, an ordinary monk with no hereditary or incarnation status can ascend the ranks within the monastery to this highest position.
A new Gaden Tripa is appointed once every seven years and is alternately selected from the Sharpa Choje and Jangtse Choje. This appointment is automatic but is confirmed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who will publicly announce the appointment at the time of the changeover.

My Dear friends online, My name is ANNISA, And I live in Illinois USA, I have to give this miraculous testimony which is so unbelievable until now. I had a problem with my Ex husband 2 years ago, which led to our break up. I was not myself again, I felt so empty inside me, my love and financial situation became worse, until a close friend of mine told me about a spell caster who helped her in the same problem too. His name is DR OGEDEGBE. I whats-app the spell caster and I told him my problem and I did what he asked of me, to cut the long story short. Before I knew what was happening, less than two days later my husband gave me a call and told me that he was coming back to me. I was so happy to have him back. The most interesting part of the story is that I am pregnant. Thanks to DR OGEDEGBE for saving my marriage and for also saving others' marriage too. Continue your good work, If you are interested in contacting the great spell caster, email him now: [email protected] or contact him on whats-app +2349121737553
I am a member of Jewel-Heart out of Ann Arbor, MI; it was founded by Gelek Rinpoche, whos root Guru was Trijang Rinpoche. His nephew, Demo Rinpoche, is his successor.
ANYWAYS the question:
being of the Gelug-pa school, I am curious about Dorje Shugden and his practice, and wonder where I can get a book that lays out the practice. Having access to it is kind of.. difficult right now, but I dont think we'ed have any of these teachings if it wasnt for Dorje Shugden!

Posted on June 24, 2016 #1 AuthorGaden Tripa is the highest authority of the Gelug tradition. Shar Gaden monks must have done great deeds for their lamas such as H.H. Gaden Trisur Lungrik Namgyal to live a long and healthy life. It is always auspicious to see high monks live a long life, to continue benefitting others. It is said these monks can control their body, and if they feel their presence can benefit others, they will extend their life. On the other hand, when the students didn’t do their work well, didn’t transform their mind (for the better), etc, then the lama will manifest passing early so that they can take a rebirth and come back in another time/space to benefit others. I also heard that is it great that they offer long life puja for HH, and when he accepted it, he will extend His life to benefit even more people. Rejoice!

Posted on June 27, 2016 #2 AuthorJe Tsongkhapa (1357–1419), who founded the Gelug is the first Ganden Tripa. After Tsongkhapa’s passing, his teachings were held and kept by Gyaltsab Je and Khedrub Je who were the next abbots of Ganden monastery. The lineage has been held by the Ganden Tripas unbroken all the way from lama Tsongkhapa to the current Gaden Tripa. 101 Gaden Tripa is a devoted Dorje Shugden practitioners, and has never abandoned his practiced. May H.H. Gaden Tripa lives long and always turn the wheel of dharma

Posted on July 3, 2016 #3 AuthorThe Gaden Tripa is the spiritual leader of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. It is an appointed position based on merit of a monk’s learning, practice and adherence to the monastic vows and commitments as well seniority.
The students offering of tenshug means that they think the Gaden Tripa can benefit a lot more people. Very happy to see this aaceptance of tenshug by the Gaden Tripa, His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Lungrik Namgyal.
It is also very heartening to see this little big community of highly attained monks gathering for the offering.
May His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Lungrik Namgyal have good health and long life.

Posted on September 3, 2016 #4 AuthorIt is rejoicing to see the celebration of such an attained Master, the 101st Gaden Tripa, His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Lungrik Namgyal. In celebration of his 90th birthday, we see many other eminent Masters, students and followers making the effort to come from around the world to pay their respect and request for his long life. I wish to commend the people of Dhapa, Nepal and the members of Thar Deu Ling Buddhist Centre, Paris for organising such a grand event. It is a celebration of this master’s dedication to the Dharma, holding his pure vows, including his devotion to Protector Dorje Shugden and his compassionate achievements. With folded hands, may His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Lungrik Namgyal continue to live very long healthy life to benefit the people with his turning the Wheel of Dharma.
