Posted on April 19, 2017 #1 AuthorYidam, meditation practice means to hold one’s mind. Protector practice is to avert inner and outer obstacles preventing practitioner on dharma practice. Yidam is more important than protector practice although both are emanations of Buddha. The Protector practice, known as kangsol is done as part of the daily prayers or sadhana.
This Protector practice can be done without initiation. It is very kind of the Guru to introduce this practice so that more can have this protection on their dharma path.
Thank you, Pastor Shin for a clear explanation and guide for this practice as taught by the Guru.
