Filmed in October 2009, this video shows the pre-trance preparations for the invocation of wrathful Dorje Shugden to enter the body of the oracle. Before the actual trance session, the oracle first performs the serkym or golden drink offering and other prayers to Dorje Shugden.
Following this, the oracle puts on the regalia of Dorje Shugden, along with the other items necessary for the trance to take place. Finally the oracle takes his seat on the Protector throne and the invocation prayers begin.
