Highly regarded as an emanation of Yamantaka, His Holiness Kyabje Ling Rinpoche was renowned as an accomplished scholar and ritual master. Along with another great teacher, His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, Kyabje Ling Rinpoche was selected as one of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s tutors.
Like all great Gelugpa masters, Kyabje Ling Rinpoche relied on Dorje Shugden throughout his life and even composed prayers to him. At the request of the Gelug assembly at Varanasi University in Sarnath, India, Kyabje Ling Rinpoche composed the prayer below. It is a concise but complete method of offering the kawang (confessional prayer), request for activities and serkym (golden drink) to the Five Protectors of Gaden Shartse Monastery (Gon Chö Nga) – Palden Lhamo, Mahakala, Kalarupa, Vaishravana and Dorje Shugden.
In reciting this prayer daily, we purify the negative karma causing our obstacles (confessional prayer), accumulate merit for the accomplishment of our wishes (serkym) and verbalise our requests to the Protectors so that we may gain siddhis.

Is greed okay if it helps develop more positivity (in small picture)? Distractions dissolve from themselves, getting involved only expands them, but aren't there hopes to be fulfilled in the long run by innvolment?
7 offering bowls (yes) but how many butter lamps for very small altar ? I am thinking of only one (which I can afford and the space is limited. Is one butter lamp acceptable ?

If I recite the kawang prayer only in English, will it be still potent enough to clear my karma?
I am looking for help urgently and have been repeating the mantra Om Benza wiki bitana rakhia rakhia hung hoping for protection from any spirit or astral beings. How many days does it take before the help comes? Can he help with any type of being?

We also accumulate merit for the accomplishment of our wishes (serkym) and verbalise our requests to the Protectors so that we may gain siddhis. Without merits, we will find it very difficult to maintain our equilibrium and remain on the path.
This is a very beautiful prayer but like most prayers to Protectors may sound intimidating. But once understood, it is very beautiful and meaningful.

Posted on March 17, 2017 #2 AuthorHigh lama like His Holiness Kyabje Ling Rinpoche, who is regarded as an emanation of Yamantaka, relied on Dorje Shugden. It is very fortunate for us to be shared here the prayer composed by Kyabje Ling Rinpoche. This prayer is special because it was by the request of the Gelug assembly at Varanasi University in Sarnath, India. It goes to show the faith in Kyabje Ling Rinpoche’s devotion towards Dorje Shugden. This prayer can be relied on by us daily as it is complete with the kawang (confessional prayer), request for activities and serkym (golden drink) to the Five Protectors of Gaden Shartse Monastery (Gon Chö Nga) – Palden Lhamo, Mahakala, Kalarupa, Vaishravana and Dorje Shugden.

Posted on September 12, 2017 #3 AuthorGreat and erudite master, HH Kyabje Ling Rinpoche, as one of HH the 14th Dalai Lama’s tutors, just like other Gelugpa masters did and relied on Dorje Shugden throughout his life and even composed prayers to him.
Very grateful that at the request of the Gelug assembly at Varanasi University in Sarnath (India), Kyabje Ling Rinpoche composed the prayers which could help us to purify the negative karma and accumulate merit for the accomplishment of our wishes (serkym) and verbalise our requests to the Protectors so that we may gain siddhis.
May Dorje Shugden practice spread in the Ten Directions so that everyone has the opportunity to learn Lama Tsongkhapa and dharma protector’s practice for the benefit of others.
