Thank you so much for this wonderful prayer post from Geshe-la. He is one of the last few true Lamas.

  There are many great lamas out there that has made many teaching available for all of us today both online and offline. These lamas like H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche, Geshe Kelsang Gyaltso, Lama Ganchen Rinpoche, H.H. Trijiang Rinpoche and many other lamas have dedicated their lives to spread the Buddhadharma to allow us to grow in our spiritual paths and break free from samsara.
  
  They are just great beings that walk among us to be doing such great things to benefit all of us. Many times, people would talk bad about these lamas, yet, they still pray for them and wish them well. The compassion and kindness that is shown by them is very inspiring.

I am a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and always will be. I wanted to let you know how wonderful that you are not biased in any way and you always post the teachings and various information on many lamas. It shows you are trying to promote the dharma in it’s entirety. You offer a variety of lamas, teaching styles from them and even other lineages besides your own so that everyone will find something that suits them. You are not interested in promoting yourself but you highlight anyone who can teach and bring some dharma to others on your social media and blogs. Whatever you have ‘promoted’ about yourself was strictly to bring dharma to others using modern methods-INCREDIBLE. You really are a modern pop artistic lama teacher with the a good feel of our current cultural pulse. I’ve noticed this consistently for years now. You are not competitive or insecure in any manner. This really shows your qualities so much. This shows you are a genuine dharma practitioner and I hold this in highest esteem. I know you are a well known teacher and respected teacher at that and I don’t mean any disrespect but coming from my Western culture, I relate more to people who truly practice the dharma better than any titles and ranks. Not that I don’t respect title and ranks. I mean there is a reason you were enthroned as a high lama in Tsongkapa’s monastery of Ganden even though I don’t fully understand that system of Tulkus in Tibetan Buddhism yet, but I respect it all the same. My point is you truly always promote the dharma of many teachers, lineages and centres and for this it shows who you are. I wanted to share this with you for quite a while now. I hope you accept this and you can share with others if you like.

Thank you for posting this prayer by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. He is one of my favourite lamas, his books are so easy to understand.

  It is our pleasure to share this prayer. As you’ve said, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s books are very clearly laid out and I’ve been told that they are very accurate translations of the original Tibetan scriptures.

Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is truly an incredible lama and the NKT is very lucky to have a dedicated lama just as how in Kechara, we’re lucky to have Tsem Rinpoche as our spiritual guide. May the lamas continue to have a stable and long life to turn the wheel of Dharma.

Thank You dorjeshugden.org for making this video available here. It is such great blessing to be able to hear Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s request to Dorje Shugden. Geshe-la has benefited so many through his numerous Dharma work particularly Geshe-la’s written works or books. They have made Dharma very accessible around the world in this time. Geshe-la has proven to the world Dorje Shugden as a powerful and benevolent Dharma Protector who had helped Geshe-la all these years in his Dharma work. The flourishing of the New Kadampa Tradition centres today is a testament to this.

May Geshe-la live long and continue to spread the precious and rare teachings of the incomparable Lama Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugden.
