The Prajnaparamita class is one of the five core topics of Buddhist Philosophy which is studied in the Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. After the completion of this class, monks gather to perform a celebratory puja to remove obstacles for their next class, which is on the topic of Madhyamika.

Posted on May 19, 2017 #1 AuthorThat looks like a beautiful and big monastery with so very many red robes of the sangha. What a beautiful sight. Lovely chanting of the prayers too.
Thank you for sharing this glimpse into an important occasion for these monks completing their study of the Prajnaparamita. Reminds me of prom night for the middle schoolers moving on to high school.
May the dharma spread far and wide to benefit beings.
