Dorje Shugden is an emanation of Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom, who manifested in the form of a Protector in order to protect the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa. Appearing in a worldly form, Dorje Shugden wears a domed hat and the robes of a monk, and assists practitioners on their spiritual journey by dispelling inner and outer obstacles to ensure a smooth and unobstructed Dharma path.
