His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang, one of the greatest Gelugpa masters of the 20th Century, wrote an extensive autobiography of himself before he entered clear light in 1981. This autobiography was written at the advice of Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s root Guru, His Holiness Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche and at the request of many Lamas including Venerable Geshe Rabten Rinpoche and Kyabje Drakyab Rinpoche.

Title “The Illusory Play” when translated into English, such autobiographies of erudite masters are lessons in themselves and show us an example of how a life dedicated to altruism and spirituality can be lived.

Thank you for this download and others for our benefit. It is very kind of Rinpoche and your team to work to bring this to us. I really appreciate these and other works of Rinpoche.

Its just that I was never and still is not good at reading and understanding on my own, so it will take some time for me to go through this teaching.

With folded hand and bent knees, I thank Rinpoche for these downloads.

This is a very interesting biography because it tells the story of a great lama from his younger days, who he studied under, what each teacher taught him, which also include the plight of his ladrang, the ordination protocol and many intricacy. It is a must-read for any Tibetan Buddhism enthuatisatic.

    Hello,
Is it possible to access the autobiography of Trijang Rinpoche without “dorjeshugden.net” printed across every page? 😊
    Many thanks for this translation!
