His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche was born in 1905 in Kham, Tibet. He studied at Gaden Shartse Monastery and was guided through his first lesson in elementary dialectics by His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, who later became one of the main tutors to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Whilst at Gaden Monastery, Kyabje Zong Rinpoche studied Prajnaparamita, Madhyamika, Abidharma and the Vinaya among other subjects and became renowned throughout the three great Gelugpa monasteries. He was also a great and renowned teacher of Dorje Shugden’s practice and held Dorje Shugden very close to his heart.

That he acknowledge publicly that his life’s work was accomplished through sincere reliance on Dorje Shugden. And, he accomplished so much during his lifetime, from Tibet to India and other parts of the world.
So blessed to even view this video. Brought tears to my eyes.
