Hello. I read that you can pray to Dorje Shugden to help with having enough resources as well as for spiritual reasons. Can Dorje Shugden help to ensure a good livelihood, like a good job?

Dear Jane Vanco, Dorje Shugden has 5 emanations, and one of his emanation known as Dorje Shugden Gyenze functions to specifically grant practitioners both inner (spiritual) and outer (material) wealth. I personally know and heard many genuine stories of people receiving help through Dorje Shugden’s blessings due to their consistent prayers, in regards to their career. But of course Dorje Shugden is not a quick fix (though for some, his assistance comes very quickly) and results varies from individuals, simply due to the different karmas we have collected in our countless of lifetimes. Do start his simple practice, there is after all nothing to lose, but only to gain. Wishing you the best of luck!

Dear Jane, Dorje Shugden is a Buddha and He is very compassionate. He will provide you with good livelihood so that you can practice Dharma. Most importantly, we need to have good motivation when pray to Dorje Shugden.

I too have heard so many stories about people getting help directly from Dorje Shugden when praying for jobs and contracts. I personally feel I had the good fortune to be able to work in Kechara is the help of Dorje Shugden.

Slight clarification here. Dorje Shugden definitely has the ability to assist with resources as he is also wealth protector. As has been mentioned, he even emanates in a specific “increase” form to assist with the accumulation of resources amongst other things. BUT, being an omniscient enlightened being, Dorje Shugden has the foresight to see whether having resources is beneficial to the petitioner or not. This determination of benefit is based on whether one would be better off spiritually with more resources or less. And he will help in accordance with time, place and most importantly, individual karmas. Having said that, it will be tremendously beneficial to propitiate Dorje Shugden, because even if one does not gain resources, one benefits greatly in all other aspects.

I totally subscribe to all that has been said. Of course ad a sincere practitioner we pray for what we want but we must accept what is given as Beng Kooi said, Dorje Shugden is enlightened and knows exactly what is beneficial to further our dharma practice.

Dorje Shugden helps all (though it may not be in the way that we want it as like what Bengkooi mentioned, Dorje Shugden has the foresight to see what’s best for us for long term)!

Dear Jane Vanco, Since Dorje Shugden is an enlightened Buddha, and is the emanation of Majushri, he can definitely help us to find a good job for our livelihood. It is just something very small way that Dorje Shudgen can help us in order for us to not have more troubles that will hinder us from our spiritual practices.

As long as our motivations when we pray are pure and good, Dorje Shudgen would usually help us. If what is being requested for is not being achieved, we will have something that will be more beneficial to us. Either that or the time is not right for us to achieve what we aim to get for this period of time. We will be able to achieve something in the future when the time is right.

Dorje Shugden and all other enlightened deities works in miraculous ways when we least expect. They work in ways that help us that only benefits us in the long run.

Hope that the practice have benefitted you in many ways. Please share with us your story if you have received help from this great world peace protector Dorje Shugden.
